Which one is right for you?

The Fields

The fields at Collar Club Cardiff are conveniently located next to the Beech Tree Inn in Wenvoe, just behind Culver House Cross. Our semi rural location means you can grab a coffee and sandwich from nearby Starbucks or Greggs and enjoy it in the comfort of our field shelters or from the picnic benches as you take in our lovely views over Cardiff from the top of the field. We are the perfect location to meet up with friends, where you can allow your dogs to run without worrying about their safety or members of the public as you chat.

Collar Club currently has two fields for you to choose from, our 8 acre 'Freedom Field' and our 2.5  'Fun Field'. These fields are next to each other on the same 14.5 acre site, however we have invested in drive in airlock gates to ensure your dog will not meet anyone in the car park and a 10m gap (fully fenced on both sides to 1.8m) including privacy screening to ensure the dogs are separated throughout your session. If you have a highly reactive dog, you may prefer our Fun Field, as part of the Freedom Field runs adjacent a public footpath, although this is again separated by an additional run of fencing, the field fence line being brought in by 3m and our 1.8m high field fencing.

Both of our fields have a field shelter with seating and a range of enrichment opportunities for your dog to enjoy.

You will find plenty of bins and poo bags available for you to use during your session. Please ensure you clean up any picnic mess and after your dog to ensure the space is clean for the next user. Anyone found to be leaving mess of any kind behind will be banned from booking future sessions.

Inside the air lock parking you will find a water butt for doggy drinking water and Mud Daddy to clean dirty paws. Please bring your own towels to dry your dog.

What Happens When You Book?

After you have booked one of our secure fields you will receive a confirmation email, thanking you for your booking. This email contains a link to a short induction video which you must watch before attending your session. One hour before your slot, you will receive a reminder email and SMS text message, both of which will contain the current code for the gate. Your chosen field will be yours for the entirety of your slot (unless you have booked onto one of our social sessions for friendly dogs). Each slot has a 10 minute gap between bookings to ensure you have plenty of time to leave the car park before the next user enters.

Fun Field

This field is 2.5 acres and fully fenced to 1.8m on all sides. The privacy netting ensures  your dog will not be disturbed by users in the adjacent field. The shape of this field means you will be able to see your dog at all times and is great for users who may have poor recall. Your dog will love digging in the play grade sand in our sand pit and relaxing in the Collar Club House.

The Freedom Field

This 8 acre field provides plenty of space for your furry friend to enjoy an off lead adventure. Enjoy borrowing the toys from the 'Buckets of Fun' or take a stroll to our 'sniff station'.  Wet weather is no problem thanks to the Collar Club House and our drive in airlock parking ensures you can relax from the moment you arrive.
